Multi-Disciplinary Team
The team is composed of more than 65 dedicated staff, among which teachers, therapists, healers, craft tutors, workshop supervisors and administrators.
The team believes education can change lives and generations in the future. Its main task is to bring knowledge into life and to develop human values based on the study of the human being.
Its therapists, teachers and craft tutors are encouraged to develop the right attitude and to continuously reflect on their tasks. The team is committed to delivering high-quality education, working via an understanding of the rhythms and needs of a developing child, based on Rudolf Steiner’s teachings. Working with students with special needs allows them to experience the joy of serving, where they learn to listen, receive and observe how the students think or feel and act. They seek development through kindness while working with clarity, detail, insight and care and allow everyone in our community to develop freely.
The capacities of the team are constantly challenged as they undergo serious and continuous training and evaluation. Self-development is also very much encouraged by the school’s administration, which facilitates the participation of staff to international conferences and technical training programs in curative therapeutic education. High value is placed on teaching and learning through the arts and movement as an integral part of all learning experiences. These activities aim at developing the capacities, skills and competencies of the staff in an effort to enhance the will and senses of every child and support the development of flexible and creative thinking.
ST also encourages volunteers and fresh graduates to support its daily activities, therefore providing them with a unique experience ranging from the joy of serving, listening, observing and receiving.
