This collaborative project between Step Together and the Order of Malta–Lebanon was implemented at the Therapeutic & Educational Center in Bhannes with the aim of developing a structured educational curriculum for children and adolescents with cerebral palsy, while providing specialized training for their teachers, in collaboration with the therapists. Throughout the project, educators participated in targeted training sessions, including a strong focus on lesson planning and IEP development, key components in special education that offers teachers a clear instructional roadmap and integrates the necessary accommodations and modifications for each student. After 11 months of intensive training sessions and mentoring visits, the project concluded with the team at the Therapeutic & Educational Center in Bhannes receiving certificates of participation, recognizing their dedication, professional growth, and valuable contribution to the success of this initiative.
